As a future-focused organisation, the Durban Chamber has created this new forum in order to promote and achieve inclusive and sustainable economic development and growth through the adoption of ICT and technology by actively embracing technological advancement and innovation. This forum will provide a platform and opportunity for ICT decision-makers and stakeholders to engage on and discuss key topics related to ICT and technology.

Presentation: Leveraging ICT Enabled for Businesses Growth – getting the basics right This presentation is about getting the basics right in an era where businesses are driven by ICT which changes at the speed of light. How do businesses not get left behind but at the same time not throw money into ICT Solutions that end up as white elephants. The presentation will cover how businesses can leverage ICT to get more “bang for their buck” and unpack issues such as improving services delivery and overall performance, better decision making, cyber resilience and compliance. Presented by Sfiso Nxumalo, Managing Director of Izingwceti Digital Advisory and Solutions (IDAS) Sifiso is an information technology practitioner with over 22 years’ experience in the ICT industry currently studying towards his Masters at the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Forensics from the University of Cape Town, Higher Diploma in Computer Auditing from Wits University and a National Diploma in IT from the Durban University of Technology. A founder and Managing Member of the award winning company IDAS, which specialises in ICT Consulting, Cyber Resilience and Digital Forensic and Auditing.
