The Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry recognises the
meaningful contribution to economic development that is driven by export
markets. International trade contributes to the development of a diverse
domestic economy that enables the formation of companies that achieve growing returns
not only for their shareholders but also for the workers that drive them and
the communities that support them.
Now in its 19th year, the KwaZulu-Natal
(KZN) Exporter of the Year Awards have grown progressively
since inception in 2000. These Awards aim to recognise and celebrate exporters
in this province, in order to stimulate the sustainable growth and development
of our local and provincial economy.
The Awards are a showcase for emerging and established exporters of a wide
range of goods and services coming out of eThekwini and KZN.
