The Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry invites you to attend the Human Resources (HR) Business Forum. This event will help business understand the raft of recent and pending statutory and regulatory changes that will affect human resources in 2020. Presentation 1: Labour Law Roadmap for 2020

The presentation will cover:
• Key statutory amendments from 2019 that need to be fine-tuned.
• Statutory amendments that will be operationalised in 2020 (including AARTO, NQF Amendment Act and others).
• NEDLAC policy trends (focusing on retrenchments, outsourcing and TES).
• Key Court decisions that must be integrated into policy and practices (substances, bullying, FTC management, TES protocols).
Presentation 2: 2020 IR Landscape
Presented by Kylie Griffin, Executive Director of KZNEIA and Business Partner to Global Business Solutions KZN.
The presentation will cover:
• An update on recent Industry Settlements and their implications.
• Insight into pre-bargaining positions for 2020, especially in Collective Structures.
• Considerations for negotiations in 2020.
