This workshop has been specifically designed around managing poor performance in the workplace and the legal requirements for a procedurally and substantively fair dismissal. The workshop will equip you to identify and handle the poor performance process from beginning to end as well as all the relevant resources, including performance appraisals, agenda, minutes, performance tracking tools and case law precedents.
This course is aimed at all managers who manage any number of employees, including human resource practitioners.
After completing this workshop, you will be competent in identifying poor performance, developing a performance improvement plan, creating a performance appraisal systems, dealing with staff on probation, meeting the requirements for a poor performance dismissal and winning at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) if such cases are referred.
About the presenter:
Denzile Reddiar is a seasoned Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practitioner and academic who is passionate about justice. Denzile has a special interest in the area of labour, social and restorative justice. He has experience in forensic investigations as well as risk and compliance in a number of specialist industries including banking, gaming and betting, FMCG, logistics, audits (internal and external) and petroleum.
