Webinar: HR Business Forum – 13 August 2020

Join the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry NPC for a webinar focused on our Human Resources Business Forum on Thursday, 13 August 2020

About this Event

Presentation 1: Tools for coping with trauma and isolation during difficult times.

Presented by Monty Thomas, Director at Zoe-Life and Relational Thinking and Social Traumatologist.

Given the many roles we play in our own lives and that of others: parents, partners, employers, employees, coaches and lovers. It is important that we TURN UP for these roles as “fit for purpose” as possible. This presentation should assist in Self Reflection, Awareness and Focus – Intentionally prepared to combat the general responses to stress, distress and trauma!

Presentation 2: Practical tactics leaders can use to boost team morale in the new world of remote work.

Presented by Paul van Musschenbroek, Facilitator and Organisational Change Specialist, Leadership Learning.

What area team leaders are not paying nearly enough attention on is the biological need for bonding, belonging, being in community and celebration. Especially now, leaders need to be deliberate and creative in how they contribute to a positive team experience.

Paul will share 3 practical tactics that you and your business clients can deploy immediately and cost effectively to improve team morale in this remote working reality.
