Stakeholder Event: Reimagining Peace – From Absence of Conflict to Presence of Justice

June 2 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Dear member

You are invited to the upcoming Durban Alumni Talk hosted by UCT GSB Alumni Relations in partnership with the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry NPC.

“Reimagining Peace: From Absence of Conflict to Presence of Justice”

will bring together perspectives on climate, leadership, justice, inclusion, and the interconnected challenges shaping our societies and organisations today.

Joining us will be:

· Tafadzwa Mabhaudhi – Director of the Institute of Natural Resources and Extraordinary Professor at the University of Pretoria and the University of KwaZulu-Natal

· Dr Preeya Daya – is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business and a Research Associate at the Allan Gray Centre for Values-Based Leadership

Together, we will explore how leadership, sustainability, dignity, and collective responsibility intersect within the broader idea of Positive Peace.

Rather than a traditional panel discussion, this will be an interactive and participatory dialogue creating space for reflection, engagement, and emergent thinking with the audience.
